"I work with individuals facing anxiety, stress, depression; those struggling to cope following recent life events or escape patterns of the past. Whatever brings you to consider therapy, my approach is warm, steady and collaborative. I draw from psychodynamic theory to help you make sense of what's happening internally and build a calmer more connected way of living".

What is therapy?

Psychological therapy, sometimes called "counselling", "therapy" or "talking therapy" is a process where you talk with a trained professional about your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and experiences. The aim is to help you to understand yourself better, cope with difficulties, and make changes that improve your sense of wellbeing. It is not about someone telling you what to do or judging you - its an opportunity to explore with someone else - in a safe and confidential space - what is going on in your mind, untangle problems and find healthier ways to think, feel, and act.
